Creating an online headquarters

Hello all!

Over the past few days, I've been working feverishly to get all the website stuff working the right way and the way that I want it to be. I've been adding a lot of content to the things that I already have and working on a new design to be able to add to the things that exist already. I'm pretty excited by what has been going on recently with all the stuff I've been working on. I think that it'll make it easier for you to see what's going on in my daily life and for me to access all the crap that I need as in resources and links and other things like that. I'm beginning to like the web host spymac since they got rid of their ads during the process of them moving into a new server. So I think once they transfer all their files, I'll be getting ads back to my website. I think that once that happens, I'll move the rest of my site to somewhere else to get a better online experience.

The main thing that I've been focusing on is updating my blogs to all feed through a central location and since I've got many blogs that focus on many things, having it all in a central place is going to be useful. It's one of my goals for the year and I'm finally getting it done. The new Bryan In Japan blog will begin to be updated with pictures linked to Yahoo Photos, only because Google doesn't have photo capabilities as well as Yahoo has them right now.

The other thing I've been working on that I've only just scratched the surface to is my English companion site that will have fun things for English learners. I will just have a homepage with not much information on it, as I've only been working on design and not content. That will come in time, when I begin to learn how to add the most appropriate for my students at the school that I'm working at. It's mainly going to be tailored to them, so sorry for those of you who aren't going to the school. But at least you could see what I'm teaching.

I'm also doing some other just fixer-ups around the site like adding new navigation tabs instead of buttons. Taking out some empty space and filling it up with different things I've found on various websites. I think I'll finally link up my forums and Yahoo groups that I've already created months ago, but haven't opened up to anyone. I'm going to update pictures onto my Yahoo Photos site so there will be newer and updated photos soon.

So this holiday weekend was good for me to get everything going and on my way to accomplishing my goals for the year. There are still many more goals to accomplish so I need to get the smaller things out of the way.
